Freight Rate Enquiries

There are 7 types of freight rate enquiries available in Freight Collab for Freight forwarders.

These types indicate the main carriage of shipment enquiries.

If your shipment is multimodal, first you should choose the main carriage from the available enquiry types and then you can define pre-carriage or post carriage addresses.

If the shipment is Ex-work or DDP, then you can choose the required customs formalities in origin or destination. If the shipment is a Door-to-door, you should define pre-carriage, post carriage addresses, customs formalities requirements in origin or destination.

When you’re sending enquiries in Freight Collab to your agents, please clearly define the commodity, cargo specification, and all special requirements. Also please attach all required documents. These will help to minimize the correspondences and enable your agent to prepare the best rate for you at the earliest.
